Muslin bags, very simple and white. I just felt as if I needed an extra barrier between the work and the dirt. The first two of these are now completely finished and ready. I'm sorry I can't show you the whole thing, I need to keep them to myself for a little while, just until the potential client has seen them. The backs are especially lovely I think, hook and eye fastenings, no embroidery but I just love the way the edges meet.
The third piece of this collection is almost finished too, a little more embroidery and then it can be damp stretched, backed and lined. I don't have a bag for this one yet, I ran out of muslin. No prizes for organisation there then!!

That's a great idea - clients always appreciate the extra elements of presentation.
simple is good.
muslin bags---a good idea.
The muslin bags may be simple, but see your little tag there, and they are white while many are unbleached. Very nice.
The embroidery will be exceptional too when we get to see it all.
It looks stunning and you know what I'm glad I'm not the only one who runs into organisational problems!!!!
Have fun with your needle tonight and the wrap?!?
Hi Karen - I think the clean, simple white with the silver hooks and eyes is very good. Just the right balance. Very clever. Like the drawings below too! Gilly
Simple is good. Can't wait to see these pieces. I'm sure they are stunning.
Lucky recipient :-)
You have a way to make even something as simple as a muslin bag look ever so elegant.
