Did you miss me?? I took the day off yesterday, lounged around all day drinking gin and watching t.v........only kidding! Favours, that's what I was doing......and finishing this. This is so cute, before I elaborate I should say that it measures a measly 7 inches by 4.5 inches, yes it's tiny. That's probably why I love it so much. It won't keep much of me warm this winter though, maybe a single toe. This will be added to the white piece that remains unfinshed, which will then in turn be added to something else as yet unmade but not unthought of. I have an idea of what will come next but the big question is when? Your guess is as good as mine.
I had a couple of queries the other day about my little patchwork templates seen in an earlier post. I got mine off my mum who got them out of a bag that had been in the loft for who knows how long. However, after a little detective work, oh o.k., after a very quick search on google I have found a supplier for you. See I'm good aren't I? Try my best to keep you happy.Favours are ongoing, see I said you would be hearing that phrase a lot. I don't know for sure how many I'm up to and I don't want to count them for fear of correcting the delusional belief I have that I am almost finished. I will be happy though if I am over half way there before I go on holiday. Now I have a dilemma as to how to spend the rest of today, favours or white piece?favours or white piece? help me out here!! I do have an idea for you, you could go here and have a look at my friends brand spanking new blog and leave a little love over there. I have been telling her for ages how nice you all are, don't let me down!

After drooling over your hexagons, I started reading and realized we have another thing in common. We prefer tine tiny things. Ah, that is probably common for people who love embroidery.

Decisions, decisions - well, how about half an hour on white and half an hour on hexs, then rinse and repeat. That way you get the best of both worlds!
Love your hexie project. I still laugh when I see on your header where it says "aspiring". There's no hope for the rest of us if you are just 'aspiring' my dear. Your work is jaw dropping!
I was looking over your embroidery and it's beautiful. I would love to learn how. I will spending more time here, that's for sure.

Hi, its me faun i've read your blog for a long time,I fond your needle work just wonderful.
I love hexagons too i've been trying to figure out how to describe to you folded hexagons- if you fold them in opposite folds. its possible to make them almost perfect pie shapes and just tack the center making for a neat hexagon with no raw edges that can look good from both sides.

i do it in opposites and end up with 2 points that got to the center you don't need a big button this way
i think you'll be able to run with this idea and make it your own! hope your favours go quickly
