It's impossible at the moment to work on my wrapping cloth because I can't get near the table to measure and mark etc so I am making more hexagons for the swaddling band, they are easy to pick up and put down and hopefully when I get them all joined I will have a healthier measurement and be nearer my 120 inches.
You will be pleased to hear that my son survived his rolling down the hill experience and loved every minute of it. Oh the courage of youth!
Lately I have been getting a lot of comments from ''no reply'' people. If that's you then I'm sorry I can't thank you for visiting, maybe you could enable a reply facility or something?? and for the past two days I think every single person in Turkey has been here! I have traced it back to this and just want to say...Hi to everyone in Turkey!
Right, I really don't know when I will be back but I hope to be rambling incoherently again before I go to London next week. Be happy x

Well I hope your home gets back in order soon. I have been through a similar experience and I thought it would never end but it did and it was worth the mess.
I love your new pieces and the silk thread just glows. They are beautiful. Have a good week.
Ooooooooohhhhhh...........these are gorgeous. Truly. I'm stunned how beautiful these look. Such simplicity, yet such detail at the same time. Makes me wish I could take a workshop with you!
Your work is breathtakingly lovely and so different from every one elses.
I am wishing you tremendous success.
The embroidered surfaces look so beautiful. I hope your home will be back to normal soon.
The "no reply" people may not know their email address is not showing at the moment. I had to go to my profile and add the address, because Blogger had dropped it. I would not have known if a friend had not told me I was suddenly commenting as "no reply".
They remind me of an an evocation of the Kingdom of the Ice Bear-beautiful embroidery Karen and hopefully you will soon have a space sorted out where you can luxuriate.
I like these. It's always like going to a sweet shop, trying to chose which one to pick. Hope all the work finsihes soon and you can get some order back
The sheen on that silk is gorgeous. Well done for managing to work through the chaos.
Hard to believe you are in the midst of so much chaos. The embroidery must be calming because that's what they reflect. Good luck with sparkle.

So beautiful! Good luck and enjoy London!
Beautiful. The silk thread adds a lustre. Amazing that you can do it surrounded by such a commotion - and keep it clean too! Good luck keeping it all going.
janice.
I love the way you make structures on white fabric, with white thread. It is kinda delicate and authentic.
