For centuries women have used cloth as a tool of comfort and as an expression of beauty within their homes. Creating cloth for warmth, cloth for shelter, our female predecessors embellished these linens with hand stitch using laborious and time consuming techniques thereby enhancing the functional beauty of objects which enveloped and protected their families. Inspired by these women I hope my creations pay tribute to and recognise the devotion expressed in cloth by our female ancestors .
''the use of traditional often time consuming process alludes to the devotion of a mother''. c K. A. Ruane 2007
Oh my goodness take good care of yourself! I had pneumonia for a month and did not know it and even lost weight from coughing. I'm so glad I finally gave in and went to the doctor, who scolded me for waiting so long. I hope you rest well and recover soon.

Oh,no! So good to hear you are taking the time you need to recover.
Oh crumbs... that's not good. I'm keeping everything crossed for a speedy recovery... take care... as long as you need.
Sorry, I forgot to put in my name... it's Christine Barnes, not 'anonymous'.
Take as long as you need to get well again.
You certainly don't need to apologize! Hope you feel better soon.
