Remember my bullion knots from the other day? I had plans....these are those...I love them like this and if I get time I may morph this into an actual stand alone piece of work. Any excuse to create bullion knots....The pictures have been taken of my white cloth. I hope to share those tomorrow and then on Sunday it will no longer be mine..I have started another one, another gift. You have seen that, just a tiny bit of white with cross stitches. This weekend I may continue with that or I may make bullion knots, decisions, decisions...

Having been out on Wednesday, it took me a little longer to catch up with the videos. This page is amazing, and a great showcase for the bullion knots
WOW love it!
I really love how the buillion knots are coming from the page! Very, very cool!
Oh, my Gorgeous Goodness!
looks like they grew right out of the page.
They look like bullion teardrops. Love them! Wanting more and more, Karen.
The craziest thing, I have found the spider stitch there to be so difficult for me. I keep wrapping the thread wrong and I don't seem to be able to get the cross starting stitches the same length to where all the sides finish at the same time. I thought the bullion knots would have been the hardest but I think I mastered that. This page is really lovely. I'm going to be excited to see it again later.
It looks really lovely - a standalone piece of work already!
Love those bullion knots. Great textural look to them
Just love your take on these bullion knots, so...... Beautiful.
And great to see your inspiration too, beautiful composite on the LHS
The thread choice is especially beautiful, I love the little bit of sheen it has .... did you tell us in class which thread that particular one is and the size? I think I am using # 8 like the thread spool shown above under "big cartel" and another type of twisted thread that is way too big.....I think. These are so gorgeous.....I hate that we are in the middle of moving, but am stockpiling my creativity for another day in the future....soon, soon, I hope....can't wait!!! Your work is totally inspiring and to think your paint brush and palette knife is a needle and thread!!!
Oh my word! I haven't looked at the last two installments yet because I'm busy on previous homework... But this is SO gorgeous!
You have a way to make even a simple stitch look beyond elegant and oh-so-special. I love the bullions!
Brilliant,brilliant..love to see this picture....so close..the thread starts to live :-)
Well,done!
