I can show you a little more of my delicate, pretty pieces now as the girls have seen them and they have their homework... I am getting quite excited about this work....much as I love my big cloth it is good to appreciate and create the smaller, more delicate embroidery that I haven't done much of lately. This may become a regular thing, not forgetting the larger pieces altogether as I have another one of those I would like to make for a specific person who shall remain nameless....but that will be for a Christmas gift and meantime I can play with small and delicate to my hearts content.
Thanks for the response to my mums cloth, I really appreciate it. I have to go to Scotland later this week, family stuff and I pass my mums on the way, (she isn't in Scotland) so I will chuck her cloth out of the car window as I speed past.....no not really. I will stop off on the way home and hand it to her carefully.....as long as she has cake....

Scrumptious! Is that cheesecloth I see?
Still more pretty, delicate textures - you're spoiling us!
Like whipped cream
This is so beautiful-I could look at it all day!
That lace is the perfect accompaniment

Nothing like tea or coffee and mom's cake. Have a great trip up to Scotland.
So so beautiful :}
Such beautiful work Karen, Scotland eh, where in this lovely country do you plan to visit I wonder?
I really love these smaller pieces. They seem so intimate, and have a very precious quallity.
I really love white on white, but when you add tiny bits of colour I love that too. Oh the dilemma!
