A small sample I made for the girls on 'extending embellishment'' ....and yes, they have seen it. I am gathering quite a collection of samples and am now trying to decide how I would like to keep them. Some kind of book perhaps or maybe a large sheet, small samples mounted in a visibly appealing way. I haven't decided yet but I do need to do something more permanent with them because at the moment they are all over the dining table....it's only a matter of time before they encounter gravy!! Swiftly followed by a divorce and a breakdown....
I seem to be getting later and later posting my blog...in terms of time of day. That's probably because my mornings are mostly spent with a video camera these days and before I know it we are in the afternoon. I don't know that it matters...does it? I'm also thinking that you haven't seen a video for a while too....well not one of mine anyway...and then last Sunday I found something extra, extraordinary.....don't know if it's video worthy but I do think you would be interested....am I brave enough though? That's the question.....

sure...you're brave enough. just do it.
Velma, of 'wake robin', http://velmabolyard.blogspot.com/, suggested to me that i make a little book of my samples just yesterday and that is what i plan to do when this class is over. she is an expert book maker.
Oh go ahead.
This sample is do very delicate.
I am keeping my samples in a flat box for now, although I will probably put some in a book. The flat box is keeping them clean and organized. Well, sort of.....
Please be brave!
Maybe a concertina-book or something similar that is compact but makes display possible?
Ohing and Ahing here. If I had a beautiful collection like this I might consider framing them...a collection of frames with individual snippets, or one larger shadow box with a arrangement of the samples. Of course, I wouldn't be able to leave it at that and would be adding some pearls or beads to the montage.
Looking forward to the video....
I like the idea of it being mounted, it has some extra appeal not being flat, there is something more organic that way I think.
You are one of the bravest woman I know, so you can show us the video. No doubt what so ever.
And I love your beautiful embellishment.
I am just in awe! Butterfly and dragonfly wings come to mind. Very exquisite. Go ahead - I dare you! LOL!
Book? Did someone mention book??? (nag, nag, nag - you know you want to). I 'see' these mounted on the wall as one big composition.
