that's the work....not me. (raggedy I mean) I am almost there...the last strip, 22 inches long, 4 inches wide. It is taking me much longer than I anticipated...those girls of mine will think I'm a real slacker. It has my undivided attention I promise you but you can't rush these things, it will be ready when it's ready. There is a sense of loss here at the end of 'embroider, embellish, create'. It's obvious in our flickr group too. One or two words about missing the group, missing the experience. I have said it on there and I will say it here...it isn't over really. The six weeks is over but I am still here, thinking of you all with every stitch. Wanting to finish this for you..not me...there will be another post on our class blog, my finished piece in all its glory, trust me!
I am really happy with the reaction to yesterdays video, thank you. I will show you the ''sister'' sketchbook to that one. It's more of a sample book though, techniques we were encouraged to explore for that particular brief...maybe next week....

Even your raggedy ends are gorgeous! I love this little piece.
your lacy edges always remind me of the blouses i wore during my school days. i was a lacy kind of girl.
Each and every inch is beautiful, I like this one. (Not that I haven't liked the other ones!)
always a wonder to see what you are dreaming life into.
so amazing to go to my art blog and see your embroidery there! ;-)

As you say, it takes as long as it takes. We know you're not slacking!
