I have been working more on my next paper piece. There are more French knots, more pricked areas and a hand perforated edge. I have also almost cleared the washing pile too, now that is what I call exciting. Today, in between closing my eyes as I walk past the pile of ironing, I am deciding which cloth would work best with this piece. Muslin? Silk? Transfer printed silk? The jury is still out.
As for my sorting out...I have a list!! I have half a page of notes!! I have my eye on the first cupboard to be cleared...looking at it now...exhausted just thinking about it.
I am also still undecided over what to give you this week...postcards?? Well maybe but I didn't make them so I am perusing that one too. Who knows I may find something lurking in a cupboard....watch this space.
And...have you noticed all that gobbledegook has gone from the top of my page? Yay!! That's down to the ever so clever Richard, my daughters other half! What a guy!!

You're my kinda girl and I do share your excitment of laundry that disappears despite the fact that the pile of ironing is growing!!!!
Good luck with the rest of your list and your gorgeous paperwork.
Karen, I am loving your continued stitchy and paper posts. lol at pretending there is no ironing! I pretend there is no dust.
Transfer printed silk.
Very lovely work once again. And, I agree it's nice to have a computer geek around, isn't it! ;)
I'll do your ironing, if you like. I like ironing. Loving the paperwork too.
I'm glad that Richard got rid of the gobbledegook for you. Now you don't have to ignore that as well as the ironing!
great work Karen, ironing!!!! not my favourite 'to do' thing.
As for dusting... if you don't move anything, no one will see the dust.
Karen I just adore this 'paperwork'!!!!!! - of course we missed you but glad you had a good time - sorry about the ironing!
beautiful work, again. A much, much better use of your time than ironing!! And congratulations on making a start on the sorting out ... a job i know I have to do too, but I'm putting off until the summer holidays.
I sympathize about the ironing, but I'm loving the crisp papery work!
awww - but we're gonna miss that gobbledegook!! Ironing? Clothes? Tell me that isn't so - they get wrinkled when you wear them anyway, so why bother?
