Saturday night, party, party, party.....well to be more precise, fabric, scissors, thread and stuffing. Now that's my kind of party. Look at all the puffs I made!! Can you tell which ones are my favourite. No prizes for guessing because I am soooo predictable.
These little cloth parcels will find their way onto my toe wrap. Some will be added to the surface, others to the edge. I haven't decided yet which way up I will put them but the reverse, the more open side is somehow more appealing, the pleats and gathers are so touchable.
I have big plans for the rest of my sunday. I will be abandoned later so the menfolk can go to the footy....bliss...all afternoon on my own and no cooking!! If they can swan off to the footy I can abdicate responsibility in the kitchen so it's take away!! Why can't there be football every day??? So the unmentionable will receive attention whilst the kettle constantly boils for my coffee and I roam alone in my little dwelling...
hope your sunday will be as wonderful as mine...

I've got a couple of hours like that too, lol, although I have to cook. It's all prepared and just waiting to go in and be turned on at the appropriate time. Enjoy your afternoon. These puffs look good either way

Just a few hours to oneself can feel like heaven on earth. Enjoy yourself.
Lucky you! I have to wait for the next fishing adventure for that free time to myself.

Hi Karen, your work is exquisite...would you like to be a guest blogger on Stash Manicure..we have a pretty large gathering of sewers and quilters...122,000 + per month in fact...Would love for you to do a post on making our quilts as lovely as you depict here...lovely indeed..
The puffs are wonderful. I like the open side too. So touchable.
Ha ha, yes I am just the same when my DH says he is off out for an hour of two - "don't rush back dear, take your time". Love the little bundles.
aaah - the total bliss of having a house to yourself! Doesn't happen around here very often so I really treasure those times. Enjoy your coffee and your stitching!
You mustn't forget to make the men feel guilty about their footie trips, mean I know, but makes the sewing even more pleasurable. From Vintagerockchicks little sister
Sounds like a blissfully creative afternoon. Hope you had fun!
