Well howdy!! How are we all?? If you have eaten as much as me you will be enormously fat but if you have had as wonderful a time as me you won't care. Christmas here was amazing, family, food, gifts, fabric...... as seen here, can you tell!!?? Not much to say about embroidery today. My white piece has been put away until the turkey stops flying but I played a little with some cloth that santa generously brought me. Look at that selvedge!!! Fantastic, I love it.
The snow has all gone but on the downside..... so has the sunshine, foggy, grey and dreary just about sums it up. My day was brightened by the postie though, a gorgeous little package from Susan, I am so lucky. The most beautiful lace and tiny little tatted flowers, thankyou Susan, it made my day!!
Well I just wanted to check in, say hello and all that. I don't really ''do'' new year. It's only saturday, what's all the fuss about?? But if it's important to you then I wish you the best one. xxx

Just love this! I am greedy.
I'm glad your Christmas brought you much happiness. Mine didn't include fabric but the whole family was here and that was the best! I am waiting to see if the postie has anything in his bag for me. I too have a daughter who will be leaving to go back to the UK on Sunday so I am going to spend as much time with her while she is still here.
Stay warm.
Sounds like you had a lovely Christmas. Now I know how you feel about locking the door so your little girl won't leave. I am feeling the same way. My little girl is here until Friday and I am loving it. Enjoy your time!!!
Good to hear from you, it is so quiet when no one is posting. Glad to hear to you where very happy with your prezzies and the food that was served.
No matter what, enjoy yourself with or without needle.
Oh that piece is beautiful!
Oh what lovely fabric.
Enjoy the last few hours with your little girl
Of course I missed you! ; ) I simply must try some embroidery soon. Maybe I'll start an embroidery doodle journals. You are so gifted. It reminds me of intricate cake decorating, like on wedding cakes. Love the photos, and surprised to see selvedge text in your work! Made me look twice!
I'm glad you're back!!!
I wish you a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
Kisses, kisses.
Bože to je krásné...

I missed you!! love that you're back and working with this wonderful gift. I got an e-book to hear while working, at least textile related...
loving the selvedge and what you have done with it
That selvedge might have printed specially for you! I don't do New Year much either, but happy new year anyway :)
That fabric is beautiful, beautiful, beautiful and I love the selvedge!!! Gives that piece a traditional/funky look...just fantastic.
Enjoy your time with your daughter and enjoy bringing in the New Year with your cloth.

(( ;-) )) I love the red and white!
Sure did miss you! But I always assume, especially during a holiday, that the person is just having so much fun they can't be bothered with BLOGGING!
Love that selvedge too. Continue to enjoy your family. We'll be here.
Had to laugh, I think I would have done the same with that selvedge. It's gorgeous.
Of course I missed you! I look forward to your posts full of eye candy.
Sending you a big hug.

Miss you? Of course!! Family is much more important than blogging though and we'll still be here when you have time. Happy 2011!
Cool cloth!!!!!!! Love the little diamond shapes!!!! We don't do anything special on New Year's eve except talk about the past year some. This year we will probably be talking more about 2011 with a new little granddaughter on the way!
;~) Debi
