Now that the favours are gone, in the past, safely collected and gratefully received I thought it would be a good idea to give my throw some attention. First of all though I thought I would like a new facebook widget on here........bad move!! Boy have I had a nightmare. I don't know if you can see it or if you have to be signed in to get the full horror but at the top of this page is a load of gobbledegook, can I get rid of it? Can I heck. I have tried, boy have I tried and I ended up with a virtually non readable and non existent blog that has taken me hours to put right. If you visited earlier you would have seen blue text, double images, green borders, pink pictures, you name it and I've had it. It stiill doesn't look the same as before but it will have to do because my non technical brain is about to explode. So not only do I have unwanted gobbledegook I have the WRONG facebook addition. Just excuse me for 5 minutes whilst I cry my eyes out...
O.K. crying is ongoing but I type through the tears. I finished the latest section and then joined some pieces together. I have added rouleau loops and decorative seam stitiching so I am crazy patchworking pieces of crazy patchwork together. Didn't know I had it in me!! Anyway, do you like???
The next stage is to add the latest piece, figure out where the hexagon pieces will go and measure for the next section. Hopefully I will do that later today if I can stop crying that is. In the meantime I drew the silk scrim winners and ta da!!! They are Jenny and Elizabeth, I have already mailed you and told you so if you just let me have the necessary information I can send you the most paltry piece of cloth you have ever seen!! Now I have a treat for you, a regular blog friend has been to the Houston Quilt show, fair or expo whatever it's called. Anyway she kindly took zillions of pictures and it looks absolutely amazing so if you want to treat yourself to a visual feast pop over here and follow the link and remember to thank her too, truly above and beyond.
Wish me luck trying to get this blog business sorted out and can I appeal to the technical genius who has all the answers, please tell me what to do?? pretty please......

Well, the blog looks fine from here. I am always amazed at how you fit pieces together so that they look like they were naturally grown that way. What a special piece it will be!

Your throw is blooming lovely, again I am wishing that I could sew but I know that even if I could it would never be anywhere near as beautiful as your work.

Oh I know that feeling when I last tried to change my blog. One of my blog readers was having a hard job reading the script so I helpfully decided to change it but for some reason the change translated all my blog into gobbledygook and I hadn't saved it first. Fortunately a change to another background and it worked again but oh I was nearly in tears too and I am not the teary sort.
Your work is looking good, very cheerful. I spotted you on etsy the other day and noticed you are from the Lancashire area (I was searching for something for contributors in that area), I am a Lancashire lass but strayed away.

The throw is beautiful. The individual parts were gorgeous on their own, but once they are all together, it is wonderful.
The throw is coming on a real treat, a lot of work in there. Sorry to hear you've been crying, if all else fails have you tried shouting at it.
Glad I didn't look in earlier when the pictures were pink and the writing was blue, I've had a migraine for two days and that could have finished me off.
Fabulous, especially the gingham rouleau loops. Maybe the technical issue will sort itself out overnight. Sometimes little glitches get eaten by the gremlins. Good luck anyway. You could always follow me to wordpress :-)

The beautiousness of the throw is enough to stop anyone crying, I would have thought! Fortunately the gobbledegook is barely noticeable because one is scrolling down to the lovely pictures :) I presume you have tried the obvious, going into the Settings and Design bits of Blogger.
Your work is so delicious I have had to dip my hand in my pocket at last. I do hope your blogging problems are quickly solved!
Facebook scares the beejeebers out of me so I stay far, far away from it. So sorry you're having blog woes and really wish I were a guru that could help you out.
As for your throw - it's looking positively touchable!

Hello dear, I came up for air and thought I better drop by and see how you are doing, ((BIG HUGS)) for you and your blogging woes. Silly old computers sure know how to give us fits don't they? GRR! I keep on insisting to hubby that mine doesn't like me and does the awfullest things to me when he isn't looking. He just shakes his head at me. Love your throw. The colors are bright and cheery and your stitchwork is perfect as usual and that's all that matters. Computers be damned!
