When I was making the small favours I was also working on secret favours. The groom asked me to make bigger, different favours for his mum and the brides mum. I couldn't show them before but I think we are safe now. The second picture is of the favours both mothers will get on the wedding day (back to front pictures again, sorry!!) The first picture, well..... being a sucker for heirlooms and such I decided that I would make 2 extra cushions and give them to my aunt for safe keeping as keepsakes for any children that the happy couple may evenually have. So there are two of each of these, four extra in total even though only two are shown here. I hope you get that because even I am confused!!
It's a good feeling to have this task finished. Good in the sense that everyone is happy and I will let you know after the wedding what the other guests thought of them. This particular wedding day is going to be a little tense I can tell!! What will I do if somebody spills soup on one!! Maybe I shouldn't go.....
When I come back I will tell you who has been unlucky enough to win a srappy bit of silk scrim.........see you soon.

You're talking about small favours but all together it has become a HUGE favour, if you ask me, which you don't.
Now what is swirling in your mind? The pinpillows are done, the tiny favours are done, .... Any creative juices you want to mention? Probably not, otherwise you would have. Looking forward to the next post with the next surprise.
Big cuddle from Denmark
oh she is precious. such beautiful eyes. and those additional favors are just gorgeous. I know they will be loved and appreciated. thanks for sharing so much.
What a beautiful baby! :) And, yes, the favors are such a wonderful, gorgeous keepsake for everyone who receives one.
Awwww, such a cutie she is!
And your favours--wow! delish!
That's a wonderful idea to tuck some away for future little ones!
Have fun at the wedding!
Lydia is gorgeous, so are your favours and I apologise for my last begging comment. How very rude of me!
Lydia!!! What a beautiful baby! Congratulations!!!
baby is cute cute cute
gifts are gorgeous as can be, I can only think that you have made this celebration extremely precious.
I want me one of those in the worst way (I'm referring to a baby of the 'grand' kind) - I don't want to rush my kids, but I really do with they'd hurry up!! As for your cobbled together wrapping system - ummm - it's almost as pretty as the wee pillows.
Babies are always precious and even more so when they are from your own! I love the favors and the pillows. If I weren't trying to get ready for xmas....I'd try one on my own. Better not...hate to disappoint myself!
Your Lydia is adorable, as all Lydia's must be. (I have one of my own, you see!) :)
The favors are exquisite...and what a lovely thought-to make some for the babies to come. (The heck with spilled soup...those will be the ones you'll need to worry about!! Grin.) XXO-
The favours will be much appreciated, they are beautiful, and what a wonderful idea for future little ones
What a beautiful presentation you've engineered for the favours, on top of all the painstaking work you've already done!
You need to learn to let go of your work though. You can't hover over every guest to make sure they don't drop soup on the favours, and if you did you'd just make it more likely, so relax, and enjoy the wedding!
Good Day Karen, Your Lydia is soooo very very sweet. Your favors and additional favors are truly beautiful.. Hugs Judy
Oh my, what a beautiful girl little Lydia is! So sweet.
The favours are looking fabulous!
I hope that you enjoy the wedding and all of the praise that you will receive for the favours.
