next to it here is something else, half finished but they looked good together and I couldn't resist.
then there are these three little buttons, not for Sparkle, these are a gift and I can't tell you who for.......sorry again!! The white ones however are for Sparkle and I am hoping against hope that all these little things I am managing to get together are going to morph into enough work for a two day show.

As you Brits will know today is bonfire night and I feel as if I am under siege. For you non British readers Bonfire Night is a tradition which commemorates the attempt (hundreds of years ago on november 5th) by Guy Fawkes to blow up our parliament building. He didn't succeed and we celebrate that by lighting fires with his effigy on the top and by letting off fireworks creating huge bangs and blasts which are shaking my very house. I feel as if I am posting from a very active battleground, I may even duck at some point. I never did like fireworks and I am even scared of sparklers so wish me luck! Have a good week, what's left of it. x

Love the fragment work, Karen... reminds me of freshly fallen snow. Beautiful.
And Happy Guy Fawkes Day! My daughter's been explaining it to me for the last week and I just got an email from her about the firework show she attended this evening. It sounds like a blast, no pun intended... well okay maybe it was intended! (She also enjoyed the switching on of the Christmas lights the other night!)
Beautiful!
And your photos are always great!
Another beautiful fragment, and the buttons to!
The little buttons are exqusite!
One of our cats spent the evening behind the settee, he is the proverbial scardy cat!

Beautiful Karen, all of it. You work so quickly! Can't believe how much you get done. You seem to have plenty for Sparkle - would love to see a photo of your stall when you get it all set out.
Interesting to read your 'in a nutshell' explanation of Bonfire Bight which is almost the same as mine, only I waned to celebrate it with photos! Do you know, I think it's only us northerners that call it Bonfire Night. Here in the south it's Guy Fawkes Night.
the buttons are just fantastic
