This cutwork piece reminds me of something and I don't know what, a pendant, a locket, I can't quite get what it is. Any ideas? It's really annoying me actually. Anyway I have produced these two cushion fronts and finished my latest fragment. Unfortunately by the time I finished that it was dark, night time, so I couldn't take any pictures. It will have to wait for next time.
This week really has been wierd, kind of like living in some kind of parallel universe, can't quite put my finger on it but I honestly feel like I have lost some time somewhere, slept through a day or missed a week. Does anyone else get like that? I'm sure they do I can't be the only strange one around here. So I am going to write a list for tomorrow, tick it off as I do it and then I will have evidence that I've been here and achieved something. I'm also going to do some blog visiting, some answering of e-mails and some responding to all your great comments, it takes me so long to get round to it that I'm suprised you bother coming here at all. I am eternally grateful.x

It's always a delight to visit. Yes, some days I do think I have missed way too much and really have a hard time remembering what day it is.
I think the photos are gorgeous! As for the colorful circles of cutwork... reminds me of an tiny antique "paperweight" glass button my father once bought me... little flecks of colored glass dancing all around the inside.... very lovely, (both the button and the your cutwork!)
And as for the way time can speed up or slow down, making us feel like we are in some altered existence/parallel universe... that happens to me too. Sometimes, I think our human belief that time is something which is consistent and that can really be measured, is actually one big cosmic joke, and the joke is on us!
It is always a pleasure to visit your blog... such a visual feast as ever!
It will be so nice to be on holidays...lots of time to stitch and play.
I know that feeling too...sort of on rote, getting things done, but in automode, the world just passing by.
Love this new work. I have always loved the cutwork with the fabrics/embroideries peeping through.

All the time! I'm hoping to catch up with myself this week, I think I got lost in a black hole (aka child's bedroom!)
I love the whitework. I know the sun probably caused you problems with the photos, but I love the shadows it throws off from the stiching.
Enjoy your week off
I love the idea of making a list so that you know you were there!
I just love the little bits of colour - magical!
I love the coloured cutwork - it reminds me of a keyhole. But then I have keyholes on the brain at the moment.
Always enjoy my visit here...Eye candy and reflections...silly or serious.
Oh my, the patience with which you have been gifted! Truly beautiful things, you must have a beautiful mind. =) Now that I've found your blog, I will most certainly visit again. Thank you for the highlight of my day! /Linda in Sweden
