More Samples

I have added more samples to the shop today. If these are well received I may make more, different ones, as I aim for everything I make to be unique. I will have to see what happens as I am working on another cloth at the moment and we all know how long they take.
My imagination is also working overtime on another item to make which I am going to try and sample this evening as I shall be all on my lonesome!
This image is from a small patchwork sample, embellished with hand embroidery and appliqued embroidery transfer.

This is another patchwork sample with a small pocket and button fastening. Again, it also has embroidered surface embellishment.

Densley pleated, this piece has an edge of handmade chinese knots.

I edged this sample with prairie points cut from a piece of embroidered text. It is a while since I made this and I have been racking my brains as to what the text read before I cut it up but I am afraid it won't come back to me. I am certain though that it would have been one of my quotes regarding motherhood, that's all I ever use for my embroidered text.

This sample is probably my favourite and I shall really miss it if someone buys it. Consisting of three strips of text, each one is fastened with a chinese knot and rouleau loop to fulfill the need I have to conceal my words.
