For centuries women have used cloth as a tool of comfort and as an expression of beauty within their homes. Creating cloth for warmth, cloth for shelter, our female predecessors embellished these linens with hand stitch using laborious and time consuming techniques thereby enhancing the functional beauty of objects which enveloped and protected their families. Inspired by these women I hope my creations pay tribute to and recognise the devotion expressed in cloth by our female ancestors .

puffs......for you....yes you..

Just a quick visit today....my little girl is taking me out to Lunch.
It's that time again...you know, that time when I have a give away and take a lifetime to actually get it done and sent. Tammie, your buttons are on their way, in the capable hands of Royal Mail. The winner of the last give away....it's OK I wont be surprised if you forgot it was that long ago...is Sandi, from Impatient Cajun...postal stuff please Sandi.
So a comment is all I need....you don't even have to say anything either if you really don't want to, just leave your name....

Beautiful puffs! I must tell you that I can not look at a small hole in cloth the same way ever again. Today I was walking the track at the gym. The man in front of me had a tiny hole in his jeans. I kept looking at it imagining an eyelet!
