This is how cushion 4 is looking now. More embellishment, damp stretched and ready for something else. You can see my tacking outlines here as I have things I still want to do with this piece.
I have a feeling this one is going to turn into more of a marathon than a sprint but when I have something in my head I just have to go with it.
Talking of having things in my head.....as I have been stitching this the words 'my grandmother's tablecloth' kept popping into my thoughts. It's not that either of my grandmother's were prolific embroiderers, they weren't, yet this work seems to fit with those words. It makes me want to create something, don't ask me what because I don't know, but I have a feeling my next piece will have a connection to my grandmother's tablecloth. That thought really excites me, ( I must need to get out more, being excited about goodness knows what!!)It's the weekend, embroidery, embroidery, embroidery..............I can't wait!!

The orange flowers on here remind me of those tiny iced biscuits you used to get(too tired to remember the name)They look fantastic
The little seed stitches work beautifully in the centre of the button holes.
