For centuries women have used cloth as a tool of comfort and as an expression of beauty within their homes. Creating cloth for warmth, cloth for shelter, our female predecessors embellished these linens with hand stitch using laborious and time consuming techniques thereby enhancing the functional beauty of objects which enveloped and protected their families. Inspired by these women I hope my creations pay tribute to and recognise the devotion expressed in cloth by our female ancestors .

Changes

Wrapping Cloth Five and Wrapping Cloth Six have been listed in my etsy shop today. To make life a little bit easier I have decided to sell only from etsy or by personal contact, (e-mail me with any orders or queries).

I have cloth eight damp stretching as we speak and I will do my very best to update you on that some time on tuesday, light for photographs permitting.

The tight pleats are stunning and once again I love the blue bits in the last picture.
